Make sure that the system's disk controller firmware is updated to the latest version.If the server or the storage system has multiple power sources or modules, make sure that all of them are connected and operational.This means that if the drives are removed from the original system and connected to another system, they might not function properly. Some drives might also have a special custom firmware that makes the drives usable only with the original system (disk controller and/or array). If the disk controller's maximum drive limit is reached, Blancco will not be able to detect more drives than the controller is able to present to the system. Be aware of the hardware's technical limitations! Some disk controllers might have technical limitations regarding the maximum amount of connected drives.If the system's disk controller is not able to detect the drives, it will mean that the Blancco erasure software will not be able to do it either. Make sure that the system itself is able to detect the connected drives (see the computer's BIOS or disk/RAID controller's setup utility/BIOS).Press F10 or click on the “Shutdown“ button on the top right corner to power off the device.įor more details and full list of features please refer to the full user manual, available on Support Portal.Alternatively, you can save the report on the connected USB stick by clicking on the “Save” button on the “Report” tab.

Send the report to your Blancco Cloud account by clicking on the 'Send' button on the 'Report' tab.

Fill in information to the custom fields (optional) on the “Edit & Input” tab.

Start the hardware tests (optional) on the “Hardware” tab.

After providing the credentials, erasure will start.

You will be requested to fill in your Blancco Cloud credentials.

Click on “Erasure” in the Blancco GUI to start erasure of all detected drives on the “Erasure” tab.

Power on the device and boot from USB stick by selecting the USB stick as the first booting media in the BIOS / UEFI.
